TRAVEL SUGGESTIONS


Flying: Major airlines fly into Portland and Bangor airports. Flights are also available (weather depending) to Knox County Regional Airport, at Owls Head (just outside of Rockland) via Cape Air.

Bangor International Airport : 207-992-4600 or 866-FLY-BANGOR. www.flybangor.com/. Bangor is about 1 ¾ hours from Warren.

Knox County Regional Airport: 207-594-4131 (Manager). Owl’s Head is 20 minutes from Warren.

Portland International Jetport: 207-775-5809 www.portlandjetport.org/. Portland is 1 ½ hours from Warren.

Train from Boston: Take the Downeaster from North Station in Downtown Boston. The Downeaster terminates in Portland, Maine. Car rentals, bus service, and limousine services are available at the Portland train station.

By Car: It’s an easy trip to Warren by car. The drive up Route 1 from Portland is beautiful, but beware summer traffic backups in Wiscasset.
