Jojoba Oil
Similar to Camellia oil, but a bit heavier, Jojoba oil is a liquid wax made from the seed of the Jojoba plant, native to the American south west. It is non-toxic, and works very well as a rust inhibitor on tools. Just spray a light coat of oil on a rag to wipe down your tools before storage. Jojoba oil does not interfere with finishes or gluing. And when you’re not in your shop, it can be used as a moisturizer, to relieve sunburns, and as massage oil.
