Note on credit card processing: When you place an order, it will appear as a “pending transaction” on your card. We will not charge your card until your order is shipped. This pending transaction will not affect your credit limit until the charge goes through.

Operational hours: Our showroom and sales office are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Our showroom is also open on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST, from Memorial Day to Christmas.

REDEEMING GIFT CERTIFICATES

If you are redeeming a gift certificate, please make a note of this and enter the gift certificate number in the order comment section. Please be advised that our computer system requires that you enter a credit card number to place your order, even if the order amount is less than the value of your gift certificate. We will not charge your credit card unless there is a balance due. If you have a remaining credit on your gift certificate after your purchase, we will issue a new gift certificate with your updated credit balance.

OVERSEAS ORDERS

Overseas customers are welcome to order directly through Lie-Nielsen Toolworks, USA. Prices are in US dollars. If you're interested in seeing our tools in person or ordering locally, please visit our representatives at other fine tool stores in Asia, Australia and Europe for local pricing and availability. Purchaser is responsible for all duties or other customs charges.

CANADIAN ORDERS

All of our prices are in US dollars. If you wish to pay by check, please call us at 1-800-327-2520 so we can calculate the exchange rate. This will prevent Canadian bank charges for converting a check for Canadian dollars to US dollars. Checks should be mailed to the address at the top of the page.

Orders ship direct from Warren Maine via UPS ground or the US Postal Service.

UPS allows us to combine several orders so only one brokerage charge is incurred when passing through customs. This service also prepays GST. Orders are then shipped directly to each customer. We ship using this method every Friday. If UPS is used, the sales tax on the order will be charged at the time of sale.

  • For expedited shipping, UPS Worldwide Express Saver Service 2-Day Delivery and Worldwide Expedited Service 3-day Delivery are available – please call for an estimate. There will be no brokerage fees.
  • UPS does not deliver to the Yukon, Nunavut, or the Northwest Territories. US postage rates will be used for delivery to these territories.

US Postal Service packages are shipped daily. If the Postal service is used, sales tax will be collected by the postman at time of delivery.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Bench Shipping Charges vary, depending on your location. The most economical shipping method is common carrier (UPS or Yellow Freight). Trestle base is shipped knocked down, some assembly is required. Before your bench arrives, you should make arrangements to get the crate off the truck (shipping weight is approximately 325-400 lbs.). We also offer a special delivery service that will set up your bench for you in your shop. Please contact us for a quote on either service. If you'd like an excuse to come to Maine, you may also pick up your bench at our shop in Waldoboro, ME.

AVAILABILITY

While we make every effort to maintain stock on all our products, quality is our highest priority. Our tools are not mass produced. We may have to ask for your patience until your tool is ready to ship, but we think you'll find the tool you get will be worth the wait. In most cases, the delay for regular production tools is less than three weeks. Some specifically identified tools are special order items with limited availability and may take longer. In any case, if you pay by credit card, we won't charge you for a tool until we actually ship it to you.

GUARANTEE

Materials and workmanship are guaranteed for the life of your tool. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, return the tool within 30 days of purchase for your money back. Call for repairs or replacement parts. We are available toll-free at 1-800-327-2520 for advice if you have a problem with one of our tools.



INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNS

If you need to return a tool to us, for any reason, please be sure to wrap the item carefully and pack in a sturdy box, large enough to protect the tool from damage in transit.
