Raney Nelson of Daed Toolworks began making his own extraordinary infill planes in 2004, inspired by a Sauer & Steiner smoother. Raney strives to make tools that will inspire their users. Made in Indiana, USA

 

 

Christopher Schwarz of Lost Art Press. Lost Art Press seeks to help the modern woodworker learn traditional hand-tool skills by showing how they can be integrated with modern machinery to help produce furniture that is crisp, well-proportioned, stout and quickly made. Christopher Schwarz, a founder of Lost Art Press and former editor of Popular Woodworking Magazine.

 

Bob Zajicek of Czeck Edge Hand Tool specializes in handmade, high performance tools including awls, burnishers, marking knives, ruler stop and dovetail chisels.
