About the Venue
Lost Art Press LLC was founded in 2007 by two enthusiastic woodworkers, Christopher Schwarz and John Hoffman, while attending a Lie-Nielsen Toolworks Open House in Warren, Maine. Lost Art Press publishes high quality books that unearth the “lost art” of traditional hand skills to help woodworkers restore the balance between hand and machine work in the modern shop. In addition to being a publishing company, their headquarters in Covington, Kentucky, also functions as a woodworking shop, photography studio, and toolmaking shop.
