The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will host its 27th annual Working Wood in the 18th Century Conference from January 24-25, 2025.

Offered both virtually and in-person, this year’s conference will explore the ingenuity and quality reflected in pre-Revolutionary furniture belonging to people from diverse walks of life. A limited number of in-person and virtual attendance scholarships are available to students and emerging professionals in relevant positions or programs.

Demonstrators and speakers include: Tara Chicirda, Steve Brown, Megan Fitzpatrick, Brian Weldy, Ayinde Martin, Matt Sanbury, Bill Pavlak, John Peeler, Chris Swan, and Matt Webster.

We will bring a selection of Lie-Nielsen hand tools for visitors to try. Stop by and say hello!
