First published in 1678 by printer and globe-maker, Joseph Moxon, The Art of Joinery was the first English language book on how-to woodworking. Recently reprinted by Lost Art Press, this book covers useful techniques that have been lost in modern times and contains essential lessons for woodworkers who seek to incorporate hand tools into their craft. The editors supplemented this revised edition with commentary and additional photos to make the original text more accessible to the modern reader. They also included all the original plates and embedded the illustrations within the text.
