This coarse rasp, dubbed "the hog", quickly reduces your band saw blank to more closely resemble to the final shape. A helpful tool for roughing out cabriole legs, guitar necks, gun stocks, decoy duck blanks, and the like.
Flat and half-round tapered cross section, grain 3. The rasp (excluding the handle) is 12" (300mm) long x 1-3/16" (30mm) wide x 5/16" (8mm) thick.
Available in right or left hand models.
