Summer Intern: Workshop Assistant

We are seeking a Summer Intern to assist with our Weekend Workshops! The workshop assistant will work closely with our sales office and renown guest instructors—top talents in their fields—to help run the summer woodworking classes at the Toolworks over the summer.

Assistants will be responsible for setting up workshop materials, helping students with their work, taking orders for tools, picking up food supplies, and cleaning the classroom at the end of each day.

In return, the assistant is able to participate in the workshops as time allows, with a dedicated set of materials and direct access to the instructors—a valuable opportunity to expand their woodworking skills and knowledge! Past instructors include: Phil Lowe, Garrett Hack, Peter Galbert, Christopher Schwarz, Peter Follansbee, our own Deneb Puchalski, and many more.

The internship is part time, Friday-Monday, with the workshops running 9-5pm on Saturday and 9-4pm on Sunday. Friday is used to set up materials and pick up food supplies, and Monday will be used to review the weekend, and prepare for the next workshop.
